Bajaj Electricals' Shekhar Bajaj moves to non-executive role
Bajaj will become a non-executive member of the board, subject to shareholder approvals, from January 1, 2027, an official statement said. The company's board approved the transition as part of an evolution in leadership and a shift to a professionally managed and board-led governance model, it said. Sudarshan Sampathkumar, who is serving as an independent director, has been appointed non-executive chairman from January 2027, subject to shareholder approval.
