Kotak names new Co-CEOs
Kotak Investment Banking (KIB), the investment banking arm of Kotak Mahindra Bank, has announced a leadership reshuffle, with the appointment of V Jayasankar and Sourav Mallik as Managing Directors and Co-Chief Executive Officers, effective August 1. The board has also appointed Ramesh Srinivasan as non-executive Vice Chairman for a three-year term beginning August 1, following his tenure leading the investment banking business.

Kotak Mahindra Bank's Q1 net profit soared by 23% to Rs 5,480.46 crore, outperforming expectations with a strong NII growth of 13%. The bank saw a rise in non-performing assets but overall performance was robust.
