MOIL September manganese ore output rises to 1.81 lakh tonnes
2 Min Read State-owned manganese ore producer MOIL reported provisional manganese ore production of 1.81 lakh tonnes in September 2026, up from 1.52 lakh tonnes in the year-ago period. Sales during the month stood at 1.64 lakh tonnes, compared with 1.42 lakh tonnes in September 2025. On a cumulative basis, MOIL’s production stood at 9.61 lakh tonnes in FY2026-27, compared with 9.44 lakh tonnes in the corresponding period of FY2025-26.
MOIL raises manganese ore prices 5% for October
1 Min Read State-owned manganese ore producer MOIL has raised prices of manganese ore by 5% across all grades for October 2026, according to an exchange filing dated October 1. The revised prices came into effect from midnight on September 30/October 1 and will remain applicable through October. Prices of all ferro grades of manganese ore with manganese content of 44% and above have been increased by 5% from the levels prevailing since September 1.
